A couple of fine Christian bloggers

One of the pleasures of discovering a new blog is that we discover not just one new blog but through that one many others. For example, I've been checking out Peter Cockrell's Already Not Yet, a fine blog I've only recently discovered (and added to my blogroll). You should go have a look-see.

Through Peter I discovered Matthew Morizio's Gospel Muse. Matthew writes:
My greatest interest is to strive to understand something of the Gospel in all its dimensions: breadth, length, height, & depth; and in the process of doing so, my great hope is that others would be likewise enabled and encouraged to see the Gospel as of *FIRST IMPORTANCE* in the Kingdom of God, neither to be equaled nor surpassed.
And at Matthew's blog I found this quotation from Michael Horton:
If Christians and churches want to create “buzz” in the culture and generate conversation, they should stop talking about themselves. God is far more interesting.
Indeed!

Many thanks for the kind words regarding my blog, Gospel Muse. No doubt, there are many others that contain richer theological insights as well as greater wisdom as how to live a life of faith in the Gospel of our Lord. Nonetheless, I count it a privilege to build something of a storehouse that houses sound thinking regarding the Gospel about Christ and its bearing upon the body of Christ.

Thank you again for making mention of my own repository of distinctly Gospel-oriented comments.

Peace to you!

My pleasure, Matthew. You're doing us all a service.
