Resolved

In 2009 I want to do these things more often:
  • pray
  • worship recklessly
  • have honest conversations
  • redeem the time
  • run
  • watch great films
  • be considered foolish
  • laugh with sinners
  • give out of my poverty
  • sit by the ocean
  • repent
  • sing
  • be blown away by Jesus

2008 (and all that)

It's 2008, of course, so any self-respecting blogger needs to say something about that. You know, make predictions, list resolutions, that sort of thing. By the way, I really like Michael's predictions over at Charismatica. Man, that fellow must be prophetic!

But seriously, folks, I do take notice of the new year and tend to use the ocassion to refocus, make a fresh start in some area of my life. Here are a few things I want to do in the coming year.
  1. Pray more.
  2. Repent more.
  3. Take the log out of my own eye . . . all year long.
  4. Spend a lot of time in the Old Testament (which I've been neglecting).
There, how's that for resolutions? Throw in "lose 10-15 lbs.," and I've got myself an agenda!
