McKnight's book sounds interesting. Just wondering: Have you read his book The Blue Parakeet (I think that's the correct title)? I haven't but have heard good things about it.
I can't speak for others, but I do take note of posts like this because I don't buy/read many Christian books anymore. I've been disappointed too many times, I suppose, by review/dust jacket/advertising hype. So if you get to The Blue Parakeet before I do (which is likely), please post a review.

Yeah, that sounds interesting too. I'd like to read it one of these days.
