Spiritual Fiction

Iambic Admonit, in a recent comment, asks, "Who do you think is the greatest contemporary author of spiritual fiction?" I have to plead ignorance on that one, I.A. I just haven't read much of this sort. Oh, well, come to think of it, I've read a few of the fantasy novels of Stephen Lawhead, which I found entertaining, although not particularly profound. It's just that, well, as the tee-shirt says, there's so much to read, and so little time....
