Is there no end to the listing of books?

A couple of days back I mentioned Christianity Today's 50 books that have had the most influence on the evangelical world. This kind of thing always provokes disagreement, and the first such response I've seen comes from the estimable Sam Storms (I think you might need to create a profile in order to read this). Anyway, Sam has generated his own list . . . or two. Fifteen books that have influenced evangelicals the most, and 15 books that should have influenced them the most. Interesting stuff.

[UPDATE: Justin Taylor is way ahead of me. He features similar "shoulda been" lists of many other top-flight writer-thinker-theologian types: C. J. Mahaney, Erik Thoennes, Philip Ryken, Jim Hamilton.]
